  • I've spent a lot of time in Muslim countries working as an engineer designing bridges and dams. Trust me when I tell you that America is a MUCH better place to live than any of them. It always amazed me how much time the Muslim would take to pray every day even during work.

  • The current health care system is complex no doubt. Like any large system it has its share of flaws. But it does seem to work for many Americans. Changing so much at one time is reaching too far. It would make more sense to implement incremental changes over time.

  • I agree with you in some ways. But I know a lot of people in Europe and they seem to like their lifestyle. Another point should be made, obesity rates are higher here. This is contributing to a lot of additional medical costs.

  • Much of Europe has had universal healthcare for a long time. They have worked out the kinks and things seem to be OK. Their entire system is built around it. I don't think you can just flip a switch and change to UH in America. It really needs to be done incrementally over time.
